Annie Erin Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent, is an American singer-songwriter who makes some sort of alternative indie pop. I can't really describe what genre it is, but I do know that I absolutely love it. She has been compared with Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors and Beirut and it has been said that sehe is the second coming of Kate Bush. Her music is quite haunting, but at the same time extremely beautiful. She was a member of The Polyphonic Spree and she played with Sufjan Stevens. She is able to play guitar, bass and keyboard. I instantly fell in love with her second album, Actor.

Heeee dit vind ik best wel leuk! Sowieso, dingen waar dingen als dirty projectors en beirut bij genoemd worden kunnen natuurlijk niet anders (dat is een hele rare nederlandse zin, het spijt me).
