The National is an indie-rockband from Brooklyn. The singer has a very distinctive and deep voice. If I have to make a comparison I would say they sound a bit like Interpol. But they have an unique style.
Their fourth album, Boxer, is a huge recommendation! Their new album will be out later this year, I'm very curious how they will sound! (And I'm hoping they will play at Rock Werchter on the 4th of July!)
